The tree at North New Hope for Christmas 2011

The 2011 Christmas tree at Faith was decorated on December 2. There was lots of help too but first we must thank Ida Brekke for providing and donating this gorgeous tree!

Last minute (literally) preparations for the Sunday School program at Faith.

It is fairly universally accepted that a bad rehearsal virtually guarantees a GREAT performance.

The performance WAS great too!

NO program would be complete without Joseph (Nicholas Dobbe), Mary (Emma Brooks) and a REAL baby Jesus........played by Baby Reynolds. All of this was, OF COURSE, followed by FOOD.......

The Faithful Knotters weren't left out either! Phyllis Landowski, one of the knotters, graciously hosted a Christmas get-together for the Knotters at her place.

Yup.........a festive occasion indeed.................................right to their feet.......

ALSO at Faith, in the Fireside Room, is the MITTEN TREE. This tree starts out a few ornaments only. It awaits being adorned by mittens, gloves and scarves which are given to needy folks.
